The Shifteye Studios is a thoughtfully designed creative venue in Nairobi, home to photography, events, exhibitions, workshops, and cultural programming.

We work with brands, artists, and communities to create experiences that feel intentional, warm, and creatively alive. Every detail is considered. Every gathering is curated.

A monthly series exploring the intersections of art, sound, movement, and ideas.

A quarterly residency showcasing contemporary creators through exhibitions, performances, and dialogue.

A spacious room with large windows, wooden accent walls, and tiered seating. The floor is mostly white, with a red area rug. There are black curtains, hanging plants, and various lighting fixtures on the ceiling.

THE STUDIO

The studio is designed to adapt from intimate gatherings to full-scale productions. With warm light, clean lines, and modular layouts, the space holds both energy and calm.

It works just as beautifully for a shoot as it does for a conversation.

Pricing:

Half-Day (Up to 4 Hours) - 30,000 Ksh

Full-Day (Up to 8 Hours) - 45,000 Ksh

Extended Day (Up to 12 Hours) - 60,000 Ksh

Overtime - 5,000 Ksh / hour

Small note:

Additional services such as photography, PA systems, lighting, and production support are available on request.

Shifteye Studios provides a creative, flexible space that is the right balance of quirky and professional. I love the layout, decor and design of the space and how each area can be utilised for different reasons, or the space used as a whole, cohesively for any style of event, shoot or exhibition!

My favourite part is the variety of textures and colours used on the walls and floor of the main space, and the wood-panelled wall works amazingly well with the bright red wall and floor!
